Verseify ("Verseify", "we", "us") operates this waitlist website from United Kingdom. This policy explains how we process personal information when you join the Verseify waitlist.

Information we collect
- Email address (required) to place you on the waitlist and contact you about access
- Name (optional) to personalise communication
- Marketing consent status and, when you opt in, the time consent was given. Marketing emails are only sent with your explicit consent
- Limited technical data (such as IP address and user agent) used for abuse prevention and security, retained briefly for that purpose
We practise data minimisation: we do not collect more than we need to run the waitlist.
How we use information
- To manage the waitlist and notify you about early access (contract / legitimate interests)
- To send product news and marketing emails only where you have given explicit, opt-in consent (PECR / UK GDPR consent)
- To secure the service and prevent spam or abuse
Joining the waitlist does not by itself mean you consent to marketing. We do not sell personal information.

Contract and legitimate interests for waitlist administration and security; consent for optional marketing emails; legal obligation where applicable.
Retention
Waitlist records are kept until launch invitations are completed or you ask us to erase your data, unless a longer period is required for security or legal claims. Abuse-prevention logs are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of marketing consent. Contact [email protected]. You may complain to the ICO (UK) or your local supervisory authority.
MVP limitation: subject-access and erasure requests for this waitlist are handled manually by our team (including admin deletion of your record). There is not yet a fully automated self-service portal for these rights on the waitlist site.
Children
Verseify is not directed at children under 16. Do not join the waitlist if you are under 16.
